Lost

Spend the majority of the day in the woods with one of my friends. One of the most beautiful places and i found myself planning a photo shoot an a green clearing with the sun filtering through the overhanging leaves... NEED TO BUY A CAMERA FIRST! One of those moments I was told to snap out of a daze- I have been completely out of it all day! My concentration level is gradually deteriorating.. Wore a cute pair of high wasted powder blue shorts which fit in well with the mood of the day (which I think is an important quality to have in an outfit) with a long sleeved plain T-shirt with the sleeves rolled up to about half way between my shoulders and my elbows. I named it the outfit of the summer due to its simplicity and intend to wear it on the 10 hour plane journey I'm taking on Tuesday....ALSoo here are some things I've made rescently- yes it took me embarrasingly long to work out how to post photos but there you go :)

Failure

Took my younger brother into town this morning to collect his phone (which he had broken) and attempted to steer him into Topman rather than the usual Gap Kids to update his wardrobe a tad. After pointing out a pair of Paul Smith inspired trousers and a classic short sleeved checked shirt, both "not his style" and therefore shunned, he strolled over to the adventurous collection of novelty boxer shorts and socks which he seems to favour. I despair. I really do. Despite this failure, I pushed him into Topshop where he expertly selected me a pair of really nice sunglasses! That boy is full of surprises- maybe womenswear is his major- who am I to judge! But hopefully next time I will enlighten him to the amazing possibilities of not only wearing funky underwear but good clothes as well! Then again, I will try not to aim too high! But the sunglasses have a lovely vintage feel to them and I am already looking forward to wearing them on my holiday to the Maldives that I am embarking on in 3 days time! I have opted to ignore the weather forecast of thunderstorms and remain hopeful for glorious sunshine.

Promises

Long story short, there are a fair few fashion blogs around these days and I doubt that this is any better than the rest but here it is! I love fashion and music and making clothes and wearing clothes and buying clothes...I could go on! I want to be a fashion journalist or a fashion designer when Im older and this is where Im starting! Enjoy!
