Market

Readers, sorry for my lack of posting throughout July (terrible blogging) but you will be pleased to know that I did not forget all about you and neglect to take any pictures! This was, admittedly quite a long time ago, a trip to Spitalfields and Brick Lane with my good friend/ photographer Stan. The outfit went from a barbeque of my Dad's to shopping in London and is one of my favourites if I may say so myself!

I am wearing a white Topshop shirt dress (which i will have to put a picture up of without the jumper because its a button down shirt on top), a vintage jumper, new vintage sunglasses I picked up in a basement market that same day in Brick Lane, Kate Sheridan rucksack and Topshop sandals.

A word (and an anecdote) on round sunglasses- they seem to be the latest craze- Topshop and Asos are awash with them but I think they are really cool in a bug- like way. I wanted to buy some tortoiseshell ones with bright red lenses but allowed Stan to persuade me that I looked like a fool and definitely couldnt pull them off. She was right and I am grateful for her sparing me (and her for being seen out with me) the embarrassment!
