At the beginning of the week, I returned from my family holiday in Barbados. Honestly, I led a pretty chilled existence while there, meaning I have had to get moving with my work since returning but I have luckily found a moment to update Pretty Things! I have been working on my tan a lot too although as these photos were taken at the beginning of the holiday, it is not evident...
At the hotel we stayed at, there was a cocktail party every Tuesday so this was my outfit for the first:
The dress is from Topshop- I couldnt get over the beautiful blue colour and the lace detail on the back (as shown below as you cant see in the pictures) but is made of a lovely sheer material with a shorter opaque skirt underneath. The long tassel earrings were a birthday present and are good for a statement and worked out well with the on-trend wet look sleek ponytail (which I should probably point out was only adopted because I had just been swimming but shhh...). I wore with coral wedges which made the look very summery and fun- it was a very nice evening!

The results for my AS exams come out tomorrow so week will probably not pick up (lets just say its had a number of lows, mainly relating to jet lag and work panic among other things). I have a number of posts lined up though so stay tuned!
