Hampton Court

One of the many perks of studying History is the humble day trip, also translatable as 'an extra hour in bed'. In this case I was off  to Hampton Court to brush up on my Tudors, dressed once again (somewhat boringly) in jeans. Hampton Court being very close to where I live, I have visited it enough times to know the standard tour almost by heart but it was interesting all the same. There was always the constant amusement of the poor people they pay to walk around the palace in tudor dress curtseying and bowing at every camera-clad tourist in sight.
So more to the point, I am wearing vintage levi 901s, river island boots (and gosh they are in shocking condition- the soles are so thin, it was genuinely painful to walk on the cobblestones in the courtyard), navy coat from Spitalfields Market, Topshop jumper and the customized/vintage tweed jacket.

I want to say a quick thank you to all my new followers- and welcome to Pretty Things!
